Overview
Torqs is a personal time tracking app. Your data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We don't collect, store, or have access to any of your information.
What Data Torqs Stores
Torqs stores the following data locally on your device:
- Time entries (clock in/out times, breaks)
- Company and role information you create
- Per diem amounts
- Mileage logs and route data
- Location data (only when you enable location tracking)
- App preferences and settings
Where Your Data Lives
On your device: All data is stored locally using Apple's Core Data framework.
iCloud sync: If you enable iCloud, your data syncs to your personal iCloud account so you can access it across your Apple devices. This data is protected by your Apple ID and Apple's security measures. We have no access to your iCloud data.
What We Collect
Nothing. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal data. There are no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no accounts to create.
Location Data
Torqs can optionally record your location when you clock in or out. This data is stored only on your device and in your iCloud account. Location tracking is off by default and only activates if you grant permission and enable the feature.
Third-Party Services
Torqs does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.
Data Export
You can export your data as a CSV file at any time from within the app. This export stays on your device unless you choose to share it.
Children's Privacy
Torqs does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the new version here with an updated date.
